Getting Your License Manager's Locking Code

In case of network licensing, you may be required to obtain locking code of the system where the License Manager is installed. Under certain circumstances, the software vendor may want to have locking codes of client computers also.

Your software vendor can guide you to use any of the following options to obtain your computer’s locking code:

>Wechoid Utility - A graphical tool for obtaining the locking code. Refer to echoid and Wechoid.

>echoid Utility - A command-line tool for obtaining the locking code. Refer to echoid and Wechoid.

>WlmAdmin Utility - Displays the fingerprint information of the machine on which the WlmAdmin utility is run.

>Any Other Utility or Option - If none of the above mentioned utilities are used for generating locking codes, then your software vendor can provide instructions related to locking code requirements and procedures.
